dancing furiously away
daisy and i went dancing. she knew the dances better than i. they are Chinese versions of music from the 1960s - polkas, ballads, waltzes, Chinese two step, jitterbug. in most cases she led. yoga helped me in stamina, since we did not stop more than two times in an hour and a half. my dharma friend, a zen priest and former professional dancer, told me dancing is a form of practice. one dance was furiously fast and continuously spinning. my eyes where seeing birdies. afterwards i had to hold on to her not to fall. i don't know how ballet dancers do constant turns and not lose balance. i'm not worrying about the future; she lives far away and there are complications. i can only speak Mandarin with her, which give me pressure to communicate clearly.
