Ancient villages near Huangshan

Near Huang Shan are several historic villages such as Tunxi. They reflect the Anhui style of architecture- high white walls and gray tile roofs surrounding inner courtyards. The architecture is traditional classic from the Ming era. Leo is an architect, so he has a good eye for beautiful details. His camera has an 18mm to 33mm wide angle lens.

Details of the delicate wood inside courtyards

The roofs of the village seem to mimic the skyline of the mountain beyond.
