I had lunch with my friends the architects who traveled from Chengdu by bycicle to Llasa, Tibet. The trip took about nine weeks and they just returned. I viewed jaw-dropping pictures from their trip and it was like watching a documentary. I asked a lot of questions and took copious notes so that later on I can blog about it. They graciously will allow me to post pictures from their trip.
My friends tuned me to the blog of this traveler, who has done trips through deserts, carrying few provisions and finding water to drink along the way. The blog depicts 77 days of travel in that manner.
