informed whistles taken

I woke up with the intent of going to the shala for yoga. The lazies won out. Actually, I had some confusion about whether there was class at all. When another student and I showed up at the shala on Friday, there wasn't class. But Moon day was Saturday, not Friday. The person who lives at the shala location said there would not be classes for three days. Then I sent a note to Teacher who said there was class and asked whether anyone informed differently. I meditated, slept some more, and spent an inordinate amount of time to post a simple blog post. (Edit: Teacher sent another message saying that 22nd is the Chinese calendar moon day, and it's celebrated the day before or day after, but that there was class today.)

Am I the only one having problems with the new Blogger photo uplocad interface? It's supposed to give you new bells and whistles, such as being able to tag photos. But it defaults to formatting that I don't want. I have reloaded pictures I've lost several times, in the confusion. Anyhow, here is something for the eyes, a picture taken by my former colleague Michelle while she was hiking in Point Reyes in San Francisco. (PS, the title of this post is the most abstract ever, and yet it has some meanings to me in relation to what happened yesterday at Expo.)
